I am a fiesty Australian-Italian turned resident of the Big Apple.

I am a modern traditionalist. I am proud of the richness of my italian heritage and use it as the foundation of my gastronomic exploration and experimentation. In our small Manhattan apartment I enjoy enlisting the help of my sous chef, taster and husband, in recreating culinary nostalgia and more often than not, a messy kitchen. (He also helps out with the dishes!). I will try to make almost anything, and Jason will gladly taste it. It's a good system.

I want to share how easy it is to make your own delicious food from scratch with limited rescources and space.

I am an Optometrist, a Nutritionist and fitness enthusiast. Good food, good wine and a six mile run are the staple ingredients in my life.

I am writing this as a way of finding the comforts of home in a big ruthless city as cooking is the way my family expresses love. Welcome to my kitchen!
